Best Place to Buy Gold Bullion Coins?
 

Where are the best places to buy Gold Bullion Coins?
I'm interested in loading up on Gold for my own personal
wealth storage and I'd like to know where the best places
to get bullion coins are.

Any suggestions? I live in Northern Virginia and the only place
I've found online is a shop listed on the US Mint's website. Or
would eBay be a better option?

Im becoming more cautious as to who knows that im buying gold and go locally with cash.
I dont like suppliers knowing my info that can be traceable , just in case someone wants it back later!!

I have never sold a PM before, so I don't really know. But I think I read that Apmex will buy them for spot plus a little more. I could be wrong though, there is probably a section on their website that will tell you.

Apmex lists the buy price right next to the sell price on each item.

I like to see and feel the coins or bars before I buy them. I have developed a repoire with my local coin dealer. Get to know your prices from the sites listed above and then get on the street and buy. Saves on shipping and you see just what you are getting. If you are just going bullion, any of the above, I have bought from both bulliondirect and apmex. Know what you want and do your homework.

DONT do ebay intill you are sure you know what you are doing. Way to many scams and way to many over priced items on there.

Also go to google and type in coin shops near (the name of your town) and visit some of your local dealers. They usualy are your best route due to shipping fees, but online is also more than fair (depending on where you go)

With SCPM, this is normal. Eventually I have always gotten by bullion and it is always nice.

I would add Tulving.com, but I just looked on his sell page and dang if he isn't about out of EVERYTHING.....and this from a dealer that done a 100 million in sales this year. Gold Krugs are 45 bucks over spot !!!! Last time I looked, they were like 10 over.....

Anyone else experiencing delays with APMEX? I put in an order weeks ago and haven't even had a shipping notification yet. Payment was received about a week ago and it is 3 days past their "estimated ship date." Normally they ship before that date. I'll assume they are backlogged with orders....
